Mike Janssens is a psychologist (MSc) and meditation teacher. His teachings and therapy blends mindfulness techniques, Buddhist psychology, and Western psychology.

Prolonged illness, pain or a long period of stress have a huge impact on our sense of well-being.

Our nervous system is often in a constant fight or flight mode which causes us to become more and more exhausted, not recovering, feeling more anxious and less able to enjoy life.

From his own process of living with a chronic illness (Lyme disease) and more than 15 years of research in ways of dealing with physical and mental difficulties he can give clients insights, guidance and support in ways to improve their well-being.

Over the years he has developed a technique which is called Deep Listening. A way to listen to his clients with full attention and from a sense of understanding. When the body feels that it is truly being listened to without judgment it can relax more easily and is often a first step in processing trauma, grief and reducing stress.
